Riding Soothes the Soul

32 minutes - 1.72 miles - Morgan
 Got some riding time in with my woolly mammoth of a pony.  I love this mare.  Even though it was cold, the light was draining from the sky, and there were horse-eating tumbleweeds coming right at us (or holding perfectly still), she just kept plodding along at a wonderfully comfortable pace.  I needed this kind of a ride so much.  I love Morgan so very much.

Much Needed Saddle Time

65 minutes - 2.84 miles - Rhulain, Bill & Majesty

Morgan: MOM, they're getting away!  Hurry up!
Pssst, Dad, you got any treats in your pockets?

Ahhhh, the comforting view of life between Morgie ears.
Morg and Majesty ... the wonder duo.  They make life wonderful ... full of smiles and calm.
Exactly what was needed.

Morgie = Comfort

28 minutes - 1.0 mile - Morgan

Ryver and Lips were out this morning running around, creating havoc, and playing tag.  They make me laugh!

Morgie and I went for a walk this morning. We chatted, we snuggled, and I watched her snack, often.  I simply adore Morgan Moonpie ... from her one black spot (I call it her Rorchach inkblot test) to her fuzzy ears, to her dainty hooves.  Such a feeling of comfort with her ... like snuggling in my favorite blanket when it's right out of the dryer.  Yeah, she's that kind of perfect.
